Our food philosophy

We aim to offer simple, fresh food using locally sourced ingredients and suppliers. We use English and West Country produce wherever possible, with fish from Brixham and Looe & Devon Ruby Red Beef and all our Pork from East Devon. All eggs we use are free range and we are committed supporting good husbandry practices and buy organic produce if available.

Our selection of cheese includes: Montgomery’s Mature Cheddar, Exmoor Jersey Blue and Celeste – a creamy cow’s milk cheese similar to Brie in texture. All our cheeses are unpasteurised. We do have a cheddar that is pasteurised should you wish)
