Guest Ale of the Month: O'Hanlon's Yellow Hammer will be on tap throughout July and August. We also have Otter Ale and Otter Bitter always available. Come and try some of Devon's finest real ales.

Wine of the Month: Zweigelt (Kaisergarten, Burgenland, Austria )

This soft juicey red is made from the Blauer Zweigelt grape - pioneered by Dr Zweigelt and unique to Austria. Grown around the shores of the Neusiedersee National Park, the warm and protected climate of the lake allows Kaiser Garten to produce a rich red wine with very concentrated fruit flavours and a very soft, light tannin to give a long, lingering finish.

This wine is perfect served chilled for summer drinking, and marries very well with robust fish dishes - think salmon or mackeral, as well as grilled meats, game and spicey dishes
